Maybe, President Bush and the United States Senate should setup some coin-operated turnstiles,
so at least the federal government can make a few dollars.
When is the federal government going to take security responsibility
for our borders? (Not all terrorists use cars, boats and airplanes for entry into the United States.
Lock the front door with all the modern day security equipment, but keep the backdoor wide-open. This can only make
sense to our elected federal officials.)
America has a federal border patrol. Our federal politicians
need to give the United States Border Patrol, what they need to get the job done.
This is getting silly...

Ranchers add ladders to save border fences
FALFURRIAS, Texas - A few Texas ranchers tired of costly repairs to cattle fences damaged by illegal
immigrants have installed an easier route over the U.S.-Mexican border — ladders.
"It's an attempt to get them to use the ladders instead of tearing the fences," said Scott Pattinson,
who owns one of a group of ranches known as La Copa.
La Copa is just south of a U.S. Border Patrol highway checkpoint that went up 75 miles from the border
several years ago, sending migrants through the brambly scrub of nearby ranches instead.
Some immigrants walk for hours or days to skirt the checkpoints in temperatures hovering around 100
degrees. Their feet have worn visible paths through a forest of cactus and mesquite otherwise thick enough to conceal them
from Border Patrol helicopters overhead and agents only a few hundred yards away.
The paths lead from one ripped-down section of fencing to another. Texas ranches can be so large it
could be days before owners notice the hole in the fence, long after the livestock possibly escapes.
Paul Johnson protects his 2,700-acre exotic game ranch of zebras, scimitar-horned oryx and wildebeests
with about 10 miles of high wire fence, and joined his neighbors in placing ladders along the way.
Border Patrol agent J. Kicklighter, who was patrolling the privately owned land this week, said he
couldn't blame the ranchers for trying to protect their investment.
But apparently some immigrants think the ladders are too good to be true.
"They ignore it a lot," Johnson said. "They're afraid that they're monitored by the Border Patrol."
Johnson plans to take the ladders down, worried about the message he's sending.
"I think what it does is give a signal that we are wanting them to cross there, don't mind the crossing,
and that kind of magnifies the problem," he said.
Rancher Michael Vickers never liked the ladder idea and instead has ringed his fence with 220 volts
of electricity.
"I've had a dose of it myself, it's not fun," he said. "That's just my attitude, why make it easier
for them to trespass?"

U.S. ( New Jersey ) Senator Robert Menendez's Newark staff
is looking into my corruption complaints against New Jersey's State Office of Attorney Ethics and Sussex County Superior
Court. Senator Mennedez staff have been interested, caring and understanding. I hope Senator
Menedez gets results from the New Jersey Attorney General. My evidence is clear.
Over these five (5) years, many New Jersey politicians and
officials have played dumb with my letters. They know my evidence and complaints are valid. My letters have never
come back in return mail, so I'm sure they were delivered. Many of my letters were sent certified-return-receipt.
Still, I've received few replies, and those replies have never answered my questions. My questions are
straight forward.
I really appreciate Senate Robert Menendez's attempt to
have New Jersey's Attorney General investigate my corruption complaints. For over three years, I've been trying
to get New Jersey's Attorney General to start an investigation within the Attorney General's office. In the
past, the Office of New Jersey's Attorney General has only forwarded my letters and evidence back into the same New Jersey
State departments and state agencies that have Conflicts of Interest with my complaints. (I have been getting
the same run-around.)
I've updated my webpage with more evidence. (Some
recent evidence as well as old evidence.) I posted a letter dating back from April 2003. Although,
I have received letters from various New Jersey Supreme Court Office of Attorney Ethics officials, the simple questions in
my April 2003 letter are still not answered.

I would be proud to legally protest / march against this
Congressional Veterans Disability Benefits Commission. Just bringing this Commission to the attention
of the American People would bring success. This commission is on a witch-hunt and has already hurt a number of disabled

I've sent this email around to some veterans and some appreciative
Americans. Jim North ( Jim.North@cambridge-na.com ) is a great coordinator of events like this. (See Jim North's
email on this topic below) We have a great network of internet veterans and their friends to get
out our message. Maybe, the different veterans organizations will support and sponsor a legal and honorable march
against this Commission. The DAV took the lead on stopping this last ugly-head of the commission. The American
Legion was also committed against disabled veterans' benefits offsets. The VFW is usually involved with veterans
issues like this. I'm sure other veterans organizations were also against this offset.
In this War on Terror, our brave and honorable American military
men and women are being wounded daily. Yet the United States Congress and President Bush set up this commission to find
ways to cut veterans benefits. Maybe, if Congress and President Bush spent less time and money trying
to find ways to cut veterans benefits, the recent loss of 27 million military and veterans' IDs might not have happened.
The extra money should have been spent on security of our VA records.
I've been wrongly bashing the whole commission. Now,
I strongly believe everyone of the members on this disgraceful commission are NOT against veterans.
I bet some members of this commission are trying to keep the Benedict Arnold cut-throats
in check. How these members vote on commission issues tells the truth! I would love
to know all the congressional supporters of this Witch-Hunt Commission.
I think if we are going to have a legal and honorable protest,
we should have it in Washington DC in early September. I hope your idea takes off...

Hi John, My name is Glenn Stantiford, I served With 1/7 in 1967 and with Bravo Compamy 1/9 in 68&69.
Im with you on these veterans deductions. This is not fair to all vietnam veterans. I think if we could get us vietnam vets
together to meet in washington DC to protest all this then we might stand a chance of keeping everything intact. I
belong to a local vets Group here in Lynchburg Virginia, and our group is dead set against all this on what they are trying
to do. We would be willing to come to DC in protest. Please advise on your feelings on this.

Normality, there is always a demonstration at "The Wall" in DC on Veterans Day, Saturday, November 11. Election Day
is Tuesday the 7th of November.
Maybe a rally could be put together from the Sunday before, Nov. 5 and sustained till the following Saturday, Veterans
Day?
This would certainly make a point that veterans vote and are willing to stand up and fight again.
