While I was living in the
Duc Duc Refugee Village, someone sent me the newspaper clippings of the two Rosedale Memorial attacks.
Since the Memorial was my
hometown memorial and I attended its dedication less than two years before the attacks, I took the attacks hard. One
of the boys' names on the memorial lived around the block from me in Rosedale and he went to the same high school in Manhattan
as my brother and I. Power Memorial.
Roy's name was one of the
names covered in tar and paint.
