Dear Friends,
I'm
new, here to ask for your help.
We lost our Josh, an Iraqi War Vet, 5 weeks ago to PTSD.
Since that time, we...his
family...have launched "The War Against PTSD".
The response has been overwhelming. I get dozens of emails
EVERY DAY from Vets, or family members of Vets suffering from this killer demon.
Our Vets are getting little to NO
help from the Gov. OR VA...this has GOT TO CHANGE NOW BEFORE WE LOSE ONE MORE LIFE!
We were blessed to receive a request
the other day from a Military Chaplain who asked me to compose "Six Main Points" needed immediately in the war against PTSD
for him to present at a National Conference attended by other Military Chaplains PLUS "the Brass" of our Nation.
I
have it from reliable sources not only the Military but the Elected Officials of this country are monitoring Josh's site to
"see how much uproar we stir"....so help us stir, please?

Research indicates early intervention after a traumatic event can reduce the symptoms of post-traumatic stress
disorder (PTSD). That’s why the more we know about PTSD, the more effective we can be as social workers to help people
overcome and cope with this mental health condition. June 27 is PTSD Awareness
Day, which was established last year by the Senate to raise public awareness about PTSD. Awareness first starts with
understanding what something is, where it comes from and how it can be treated. This
“What is PTSD?” infographic outlines the symptoms, causes and treatments for the various types of traumatic events,
and we hope this serves as a good starting point to spread awareness.
